Cara Bramson is the Student Outreach and Programming Coordinator at the Princeton University Art Museum. Cara serves as the liaison between the Museum and the Princeton University student community. She is committed to creating transformative educational experiences that inspire and enrich students with diverse backgrounds and interests. She oversees the Student Advisory Board, Student Tour Guides, student volunteers, and develops partnerships with other student organizations on campus. Working with the education team, she also coordinates museum programming including lectures, artist talks, film screenings, performances, and panel discussions. Before joining the Museum, Cara was the Director of Education and Community Engagement at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey where she developed art education programs for adult, teen, and family audiences. Cara has also worked at the American Museum of Natural History, New York Public Library, Fenimore Art Museum and Zimmerli Art Museum. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Douglass College, Rutgers University and her Master’s degree in Museum Studies from The Cooperstown Graduate Program, SUNY-Oneonta.
